- getting your bearings

Start locations

This event is a RIDE TO event, so its entirely up to you how to plan your own route and day, all we would ask please is that you aim to arrive between:

10.00am and 12.00pm to get the best out of the day.

There are some great roads to be explored in the Lincolnshire Wolds and surrounding Counties,  but whatever route you plan YOU MUST follow the advice below on entering the IBCC from the South ONLY

What you need to remember

  • Start with a full tank of fuel
  • Make sure your bike is roadworthy and road legal
  • Bring appropriate weather protection (it’s the UK after all)
  • Breakdown recovery insurance
  • To obey the rules of the road
  • Bring a side stand puck
  • Bring your bar coded ticket
  • Stick your bike sticker on your bike

Planning your route in

ALL VISITORS TO THE SPIRE MUST APPROACH THE SITE FROM BRACEBRIDGE HEATH, TO THE SOUTH.

This is particularly important as there is a major cycling event taking place in Lincoln City on MAY 13th and there will be a number of road closures that WILL adversely affect you and your enjoyment of InSpire2018 should you fail to heed this instruction.

The map below shows Sunday 13th May ‘no-go’ areas. Please avoid these roads or you WILL be caught up in road closures and that will just spoil your day.

Arrival

On arrival at the site you will be directed to parking locations by marshals, please obey their instructions as they are there to help!
